Too Short to Know Better

In the dark hours of the early morning, two young brothers steal away from home to explore a derelict hall. They catch the attention of a security guard on his rounds and are thrust violently into adulthood.

This was the final film made during my BFA in Animation at the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema at Concordia University in 2017.

Composition in Cubes

An experimental, abstract piece of visual music set to the BADBADNOTGOOD track "Can't leave the Night".

We wanted to mix stop motion and 2D animation in a way where the viewer couldn't tell where one stopped and the other began. That idea quickly expanded to incorporate under camera and 3D animation techniques with plenty of After Effects composition.

Completed in April 2015 over 8 weeks by Max Woodward and Michael Horowitz.
